about

Justice Plant—also known as Floyd, Floyd Noir, JP, Corduroy Floyd, Slick Charlie, Charlie Starcash, Mr. Grand National, Silver Swan, Starcash Cowboy, Johnny Copper Glock, Himothy Rodgers, and a constellation of other fly aliases—is an R&B artist whose identity is as layered as his sound.

Hailing from Columbia, South Carolina, Justice is a musician who understands music instinctively, as if it were a second language. He began creating music before he could speak clearly, developing near-perfect tonal memory and perfect pitch at an early age. His foundation was built in the Baptist church, growing up beside the organ—an environment that deeply shaped his harmonic awareness, emotional phrasing, and soulful approach to melody. That early immersion continues to influence how he hears, feels, and constructs music today.

Justice’s talent has carried him onto stages alongside R&B legends, sharing or opening the stage for artists such as Faith Evans, Carl Thomas, and Musiq Soulchild, among others. These moments not only affirmed his artistry but solidified his place within the lineage of modern soul music.

Now entering a defining chapter of his career, Justice Plant is preparing to release his debut R&B project, Me, Toxic?, in February. The project draws from his most recent relationship—one marked by emotional turbulence and the ultimate choice between love and purpose. Honest, vulnerable, and unapologetically reflective, Me, Toxic? captures the complexities of attachment, ambition, and self-preservation.

With this release, Justice aims not just to tell his story, but to add to the R&B genre itself, creating music that lives with people—soundtracking their relationships, late nights, healing, and growth. Rooted in soul, sharpened by experience, and driven by intention, Justice Plant is an artist committed to making timeless R&B for the present moment.
